Hitachi-LG GP60 slim, silver

The Hitachi-LG GP60 slim external burner uses a patented, rock-like recording surface instead of dye to etch your data onto a disc. The M-DISC has been tested and proven to last longer than standard DVDs on the market. Silent Play technology helps reduce noise during playback by recognising different multimedia and automatically adjusting the playback speed according to its criteria for optimal performance. Hitachi-LG optical drives with Super Multi compatibility can read and write various types of disc formats in one convenient device. This lets you choose the media that is most suitable for each specific task. Enjoy complete freedom with compatibility for both Windows and macOS. Burn more discs in less time with a maximum 8× DVD write speed. The overall slim design, with a height of just 0.55 inches, optimises space for the slim optical disc drive (ODD) installation. It makes a sleek companion for thin Ultrabooks and enhances portability. Weighing just 200 grams thanks to design enhancements, it's a convenient companion for ultra-thin laptops.
