The built-in battery keeps the headphones running for up to 30 hours with the noise cancelling technology on. With the Sony Noise Cancelling WH-1000XM5, you can listen to your favourite music, podcasts and more wherever you go. If you need to quickly charge the headphones, simply connect them to an optional USB-PD mains adapter and get enough power for 3 hours of listening after just 3 minutes of charging. For fast charging, the manufacturer recommends a USB-PD compatible charger with an output of 9V/2.3A or higher, charging at a constant temperature of 25℃ to 35℃. The Sony headphones can be easily carried in the included soft case. Once you take the headphones out of the case, it collapses by up to 40%.
