I had a previous model. After 2 years, the connection between the shell and the bridge stopped holding.
This model had the same defect after 11 months of use. It took 3 weeks at an authorized service center under Alza only for them to return the headphones to Alzabox on the last day of the claim period, saying that the defect was not covered under the standard warranty. Find videos of this model with "hinge replacement"/"broken headband"
That problem is extremely common and those headphones are built to be very hard to fix. I don't recommend the xm series, this is the last model I buy from them. Headphones for almost 9000, -? Joke

Headphones are great until you crack the "joint" between the earpiece and the bridge. If you look at used sales, almost all of them have this problem, to come across a non-squat one is a rarity. For me, it is a design flaw where the earpiece itself is too heavy to hold on a 1cm joint, all it takes is pressure at the right angle and the earpiece "wiggles" out of the design. If you don't have a warranty, it can be glued (the problem remains), you can get struts, or you're out of luck. If you buy, then you have to be very careful with them.
