Ability to remove damaged lenses and fit new ones
The new interchangeable lens design of the Insta360 X5 allows you to remove damaged lenses and insert new ones. The lenses are highly durable, yet if damaged in action, the new camera design allows them to be removed and replaced with new ones using an easy replacement kit. No stress, no long waits for repairs, no wasted time. You can do it yourself.
Even wider with MaxView in FreeFrame Video
Enjoy unforgettable moments with stunning 72Mpx 360° photos. Use X5 as a traditional action camera and shoot crisp first-person videos in 4K/60fps. For an even wider view, MaxView mode in FreeFrame Video offers a 170° angle of view at 4K/30fps.
Single lens mode
It allows you to shoot with only one lens, similar to a traditional action camera. This way you get sharper and smoother images at higher resolutions (e.g. 4K/60fps) and simplify post-editing, as stabilization and cropping are already in progress.
Personal mode SELF
Shoot in 4K/30fps or 2.7K/120fps with you in the lead role. No recomposition, no noise. You're the star of the shot.
Unshakeable performance
FlowState Stabilization delivers smooth, high-quality footage no matter how exciting your adventure. From rocky roads to crashing waves, the excellent image stabilisation can handle it.

Whether you're driving on dirt roads in the woods, riding waves or in the clouds, your sound will remain crystal clear. The new multi-layer Wind Guard with steel mesh absorbs wind gusts as if they weren't there.
Waterproof up to 15 metres
Insta360 X5 is ready for underwater adventures. You can dive underwater to a depth of up to 15 m and record unforgettable coral reef experiences. AquaVison 2.0. AI-enabled, it can automatically adjust the colours in the frame to conjure up accurate and true-to-life shades captured underwater.
If you want to dive to the mysterious depths of the sea, capture breathtaking 360° underwater footage with the invisible dive housing. The unique design ensures its invisibility at depths of up to 50 m. Diving case not included.
Improved photo studio
The AI-powered app for easy professional-level editing will offer a wide range of possibilities. One click removes the fisheye effect in 360° shots and provides a natural look from any angle. It instantly prepares footage for export - fast, simple and straight to the point.
Loop recording
The 360 camera Insta360 X5 Starter Bundle allows you to continuously transcribe footage by shooting continuously and save only the last fixed-length portion. The last event will thus be reliably recorded. Thanks to a special connection, data from your Garmin or Apple Watch - such as GPS, speed, power - can be exported directly to your videos.
Automatic dash cam
Once the camera is connected to an external power source, it automatically turns on and starts recording no matter what mode it is in. Functions similarly to an on-board (car) camera. Pair your camera with a high-end Bluetooth headset in your helmet and use it on every ride to voice control your camera and record crisp, clear audio directly from your helmet.
Active winter sports
The camera is also resistant to freezing environments. Easily handles temperatures down to -20ºC. Enjoy action-packed scenes on the slopes no matter the weather with a camera that's ready for even the toughest weather conditions.
Up to 37% longer action shots
The new 2400 mAh battery allows continuous shooting for up to 180 minutes. Should the time be extended? During a 20-minute rest period, the X5 can be recharged to 80% and resume action.
