The system is designed to safely and securely protect your personal information every time you use it. If your device is tracked by an unknown Tag for an extended period of time, An anti-tracking alert is automatically triggered, to inform you of possible unwanted activity. So you can search for your belongings with confidence and without worrying about privacy.
Announcements
The forgotten item alert feature lets you know immediately if you move away from a tagged item and it's not in a place you normally use. Plus, you can set your usual locations in the app, so you can avoid unnecessary alerts when an item is where it's supposed to be.
Bluetooth
Xiaomi Tag sends a secure Bluetooth signal that picks up nearby compatible devices connected to the Google Find Hub or Apple Find My network. They then anonymously send the location information to the cloud, where you can see it in your tracking app.
Loss mode
In lost mode, you can simply mark an item as lost and add contact details and a short message for the finder. If someone discovers the Xiaomi Tag, they can easily view the owner's information, Google Find Hub users will see a pop-up window with the contact when detected nearby, while with Apple Find My, all they have to do is plug in their NFC-enabled phone and the data is immediately displayed.
You can easily share the Xiaomi Tag with family or friends who can then help you find your lost items. By connecting within Google Find Hub or Apple Find My, more people can work together to find an item faster and more efficiently.
