Security Grade 0 designates a certified level of resistance of a safe against burglary. Certification is carried out according to the European standard ČSN EN 1143-1, which specifies precise testing requirements. During tests, it is measured how long a safe resists attempts of forced entry using defined tools. The resulting resistance is expressed in so-called resistance units, designated as RU. For Grade 0, a minimum value of 30/30 RU is stipulated. Safes of this grade are suitable for storing smaller amounts of cash, documents, jewelry, or handguns in households or smaller businesses. Insurance companies usually set indicative limits for insurance coverage for this grade, which may vary according to specific conditions.
