Protection against excessive vibration
WD Red Pro hard drives have rotational vibration (RV) sensors that anticipate and proactively counteract disturbances caused by increased vibrations. By counteracting the increased vibrations in the drive chassis, shock is minimised, performance is maintained and the drives are protected. Western Digital works with a wide range of NAS system vendors to conduct extensive testing to ensure compatibility with most NAS enclosures.
