The large 6.72" screen on the Vivo Y31 5G offers plenty of space for comfortable video watching, web browsing, and navigation. A 120Hz refresh rate adds silky smoothness to social media scrolling and general interface navigation. Brightness of up to 1000 nits in HBM mode ensures decent readability even outdoors in direct sunlight, delivering a display that pleasantly surprises in everyday use. The back of the Vivo Y31 5G catches the eye with an elegant camera module featuring Dynamic Light. The illumination around the module changes colours and serves as both a stylish design element and a practical helper – alerting you to incoming calls, messages, or notifications without having to flip your phone screen-side up. The Vivo Y31 5G thus brings a premium detail to its price class that you usually only find on more expensive models.
50MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and phase-detection autofocus
The main sensor of the Vivo Y31 5G offers 50MP resolution and an f/1.8 aperture, letting in plenty of light even in dim conditions. Phase-detection autofocus quickly locks onto your subject, capturing sharp images even on the move. The full 50MP mode is perfect for landscapes, architecture, and snapshots where you want the freedom to crop in later. For everyday shooting – from meals and documents to holiday snaps – the Vivo Y31 5G delivers reliable results. Its photographic capabilities go far beyond simple snapshots. Night mode coaxes out details and colours even in the dark, while the underwater photography mode utilises the IP68 rating to turn your phone into a handy underwater camera. Professional mode lets you manually adjust key parameters, and Panorama captures wide landscapes in one smooth sweep. You also get time-lapse, slow-motion, and a document correction mode that straightens photographed text into a readable format.
