Capture a concert from the balcony, wildlife at the edge of the woods, or the fine details of a facade high above the street with a level of sharpness you wouldn't expect from a phone. Vivo X500 Pro Max relies on a 200Mpx ZEISS APO telephoto lens with a large 1/1.4" sensor and an 85mm portrait focal length that focuses from just 15cm. The main ZEISS TrueDynamic camera, featuring a 1/1.28" Sony LYTIA sensor and LOFIC technology, achieves a dynamic range of up to 17 EV. Sunsets and backlit portraits keep details in both highlights and shadows. View your results on the large 6.85" display with a resolution of 3168×1440 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. A 2nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset clocked at up to 4.55GHz delivers excellent performance. The 6750mAh battery charges fully in approximately 58 minutes with 90W charging. Large 6.85" display with QHD+ resolution and up to 5000 nits brightness
The large screen brings out the fine details of the 200Mpx camera and makes your favourite films pop. Vivo X500 Pro Max features a 6.85" AMOLED display with a sharp 3168×1440 resolution and 1.07 billion colours in the wide P3 gamut. Content in HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Netflix HDR formats looks vibrant and rich in contrast. An adaptive refresh rate of 1 to 144Hz ensures smooth motion while saving battery. Local peak brightness of up to 5000 nits keeps the display easy to read even in direct sunlight. To protect your eyes, it uses 2160Hz PWM dimming certified by TÜV Rheinland for flicker-free viewing and SGS for low blue light.
ZEISS TrueDynamic main camera with LOFIC technology
Scenes with extreme contrast between light and shadow test every camera. Vivo X500 Pro Max handles them effortlessly with its 50Mpx ZEISS TrueDynamic main camera, which features a 1/1.28" Sony LYTIA L910 sensor developed in exclusive collaboration between Vivo and Sony. LOFIC technology expands the dynamic range up to 17 EV, keeping details sharp across the entire frame in fireworks, a brightly lit stage, or a portrait against the setting sun. The f/1.57 aperture lets in plenty of light even at night, and optical stabilisation keeps shots crisp when you are on the move.
200Mpx ZEISS APO telephoto lens for stunning close-ups and distance shots
The main camera is accompanied by a telephoto lens that turns the Pro Max model into an exceptional tool for photographers. The 200Mpx ZEISS APO telephoto lens uses a large 1/1.4" sensor and an 85mm focal length, which is ideal for portraits with natural proportions. The high resolution lets you crop images afterwards while maintaining sharp details of distant subjects. Vivo X500 Pro Max focuses from just 15cm with its telephoto lens, making it great for impressive macro photography. Object tracking at 60 fps keeps fast action sharp on the sports field, and Stage Mode 3.0 captures the concert atmosphere from the crowd. You can also reach a 200mm focal length using the ZEISS Telephoto Extender.
Ultra-wide-angle camera, 50Mpx front camera, and personalised portraits
The other cameras maintain the same 50Mpx quality, delivering balanced results from any angle. The ZEISS ultra-wide-angle camera with a 15mm focal length and autofocus captures wide landscapes or architecture. It focuses from just 3.5cm. The Vivo X500 Pro Max front camera has a 92° field of view to easily fit the whole group into the frame, while autofocus ensures sharp selfies. You can fine-tune your portraits with the vivo colour Palette filters, and the rear fill light helps when filming video in the dark.
8K video and cinematic modes directly in the camera app
ZEISS cameras show their strength when recording video too. Vivo X500 Pro Max records in up to 8K with both the main camera and the telephoto lens, and in 4K at 120 frames per second in 10-bit Log format for professional colour grading. Native recording in 4K at 240 frames per second creates stunning 8× slow-motion shots of fast action. The 4K Golden Hour Portrait Video mode preserves the warm light of the sunset while keeping your subject in sharp focus, and the Cinematic colour mode adds a film-like look. Use the Dual-View feature to record yourself and the scene ahead of you at the same time.
Custom Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset with built-in AI
Snappy response times, smooth gaming, and instant photo processing start with the processor. Vivo X500 Pro Max is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro, built on a modern 2nm process in collaboration between Vivo and MediaTek. Its eight cores clocked at up to 4.55GHz easily handle demanding games, video editing, and multitasking with several apps. The dual NPU processes AI tasks directly on the device and works alongside vivo image technology to power advanced features like 4K Golden Hour portrait video and 60 fps subject tracking. It features 12GB of fast LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, launching apps instantly.
Dual-cell 6750mAh battery with charging in approximately 58 minutes
A large display and powerful cameras need plenty of power, and this phone delivers. Vivo X500 Pro Max features a dual-cell 6750mAh battery, with its battery life further extended by intelligent power management. With 90W FlashCharge, you can charge from 1 to 100% in approximately 58 minutes, while 40W wireless charging offers a convenient alternative. The phone can also charge your headphones or other small devices via a cable, so you have power ready whether you are in the office or on the go.
