This universal customer display for POS systems and terminals from Virtuos is compatible with other Virtuos VFD displays and is a 100% replacement for the FV-2029M model. It stands out for its high utility, versatile deployment, and low power consumption of max. 2.5W. The display is powered by an external 12V, 1A adapter (included), or directly from a PC using a 12V power adapter or a 9-pin serial port cannon connector. The base of the display has 4 holes around its perimeter which can be used for mechanical mounting. A wide range of control commands allows for various effects (cursor movements, vertical and horizontal rotation, character deletion, flashing, time display). The display has 29 international character sets, including the Czech diacritics set Latin II - CP852. It communicates via a standard RS-232 serial interface at a selectable speed of 9600 or 19200 baud. The Prolific PL2303 virtual serial port chipset ensures compatibility with all major operating systems.
