Luminous flux

Measured in Lumens (lm) – the higher the value, the brighter the head torch shines. Some LED head torches offer multiple brightness levels, adjustable either in steps or smoothly. However, higher luminous flux shortens battery life.
Up to 100lm – head torch for home use (lighting in the cellar, attic, or during car repairs).
100–400lm – outdoor use (night running, cycling, camping).
Over 400lm – extreme professions and sports (rescue workers, climbers).
