Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch 48 is a gigabit L3 smart switch designed for rack mounting. It is perfect for small and medium-sized businesses that require a reliable, managed switch. The EdgeSwitch 48 features 48 RJ-45 metallic Ethernet ports with speeds of 10/100/1000Mbps and two gigabit Ethernet SFP ports. Unlike the 16/24-port models, this 48-port version comes equipped with an additional two Ethernet SFP+ ports for a 1/10Gbps uplink. The Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch 48 also boasts PoE on 24 ports, which you can configure as active PoE 802.3af/at with a power output of 34.2W per port, or passive 24V PoE with 17W per port. The total PoE power budget is 436W. Additionally, the EdgeSwitch 48 features automatic 802.3af and 802.3at PoE detection for plug-and-play operation without prior configuration. You must set up passive 24V PoE manually.
