The TP-Link VIGI C540S is an outdoor 4MP pan-tilt IP camera that lets you monitor a large area around your house, business, warehouse, or premises with 360° coverage and no blind spots. Thanks to VIGI colourPro Night Vision technology, the IP camera can capture a colourful and detailed image even in very low ambient light conditions. Unlike standard infrared night vision, this allows you to better discern important colour details of people, vehicles, or other objects in the recording. The TP-Link VIGI C540S makes it easier to identify important events and provides an overview of the monitored area even at night.
Four technologies for better night-time image quality
The TP-Link VIGI C540S outdoor camera delivers a high-quality colour image in very low light by combining four technologies. A large F1.0 aperture captures up to 4× more light, while a highly sensitive 1/1.8" sensor offers a 2.1× larger light-sensitive area for more effective use of available light. In addition, specially designed white supplementary lighting provides more even and softer illumination of the monitored scene. The resulting image is then processed by a built-in ISP module with smart algorithms that automatically optimise its quality.
Clear image thanks to True WDR and 3D DNR
True WDR technology combines different exposure levels to preserve clearly visible details in both bright and dark parts of the image, which is particularly useful when monitoring areas with significant differences in lighting. Thanks to the 3D DNR function, the TP-Link VIGI C540S camera also analyses the image across individual frames and helps reduce digital noise while preserving important details. Automatic white balance then ensures more natural colour reproduction in various lighting conditions.
