Guca 10310MB Olivie – Weighted Realistic Baby Doll with Sounds and Soft Fabric Body – 42cm

The Guca Olivie Doll is a realistic baby doll suitable for children from 3 years of age. It has a soft fabric body and posable limbs, so it can also sit up. When you press its chest, it makes the sound of a laughing baby. Thanks to its weighted filling, it behaves like a real baby and can also be used in occupational therapy or as an aid for people with dementia.

Behaves Like a Real Baby

The Olivie doll is designed to resemble a real baby as closely as possible. Its head and bottom contain a weighted filling made of fabric bags with silica sand. This allows the head to move naturally depending on how you handle the doll, and it requires support when held. The total weight of approximately 1.4kg adds to the authentic feeling when holding the doll. The limbs are attached to the body with a joint, which allows the doll to be positioned in a sitting pose.

A Therapeutic Aid

In addition to being a toy, the Olivie doll also serves as a therapeutic aid. In occupational therapy, it helps to develop fine motor skills and coordination. Its realistic design and weight also find use in working with people suffering from dementia. Holding the doll and caring for it can induce feelings of calm and security and reduce anxiety in these individuals.

Craftsmanship and Accessories

The Guca Olivie doll is handmade in Spain. It has a soft fabric body, while the head and limbs are made of plastic. The package includes a complete set of accessories, including clothing and a dummy with a chain. The dummy serves only as an accessory and cannot be inserted into the doll's mouth. The doll is ready to play with straight out of the box, as the necessary batteries for the sound module are already included.
