Synology E10G30-T2

Synology E10G30-T2
Upgrade your NAS network connection with the Synology E10G30-T2 network card. This internal card offers two RJ-45 connectors, each supporting speeds of up to 10Gb/s, ensuring a high-speed and reliable connection. The Synology E10G30-T2 supports Link Aggregation, which allows you to combine the two 10GbE ports into a single group. This increases throughput to up to 20Gb/s while also providing port failover and load balancing. However, your router must also support the IEEE 802.3ad (LACP) protocol to correctly configure and manage the aggregated links. The card is equipped with technologies to reduce CPU load and balance traffic, optimising system performance. With its PCI Express interface, the Synology E10G30-T2 network card is easy to install in standard slots.

You'll love the features of the Synology network card
The Synology E10G30-T2 network card is equipped with a range of advanced features to optimise network performance and efficiency. TCP Segmentation Offload (TSO) and Generic Segmentation Offload (GSO) reduce the load on the CPU by offloading some of the network data processing to the card. This speeds up large data transfers and reduces processor load. Receive Side Scaling (RSS) and Transmit Side Scaling (TSS) improve data reception and transmission performance by evenly distributing network traffic across multiple processor cores. Support for Jumbo Frames from 1.5 to 9KB enables the transfer of larger data packets over the network, reducing packet processing overhead and increasing network throughput. To use this feature, however, your router must also support Jumbo Frames. TCP/UDP checksum offloading reduces CPU load by transferring checksum calculation and verification to the network card. Large Receive Offload (LRO) merges multiple incoming packets into a single, larger packet, reducing the number of interrupts and increasing data reception efficiency.
