Schleich Cowboy on a bull in a corral 41419

The word Rodeo comes from the Spanish "rodear". It means something like "to round up" and refers to the traditional way of gathering herds of cows together with a few other cowboys. The most notable category in rodeo is bull riding. The rider sits on the back of the animal and holds on tightly with one hand to the rope that is wrapped around the bull. The animal is then released from the pen and hunched forward. The rider must stay on the animal's back for at least eight seconds.
