The SMLIGHT SLZB-Ultima 3 bridge serves as a professional multi-radio Zigbee and Thread adapter for smart home installations, system integration, and OEM projects. The device works independently or via a central unit and runs on the SLZB-OS operating system, which offers a unified web interface for management, diagnostics, and OTA updates. This adapter supports a 100Mbps Ethernet connection, 2.4GHz WiFi, and Bluetooth. It is powered as standard via a USB interface, with an optional PoE add-on for power over the network cable. The device also offers a USB Passthrough mode for remote USB over LAN.

The hardware architecture combines TI CC2674P10 chips for Zigbee and Thread with a Silabs EFR32MG24 module. Its open system makes it the ideal foundation for Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT, and OpenThread Border Router. Expansion options include add-ons for Z-Wave 800, a UPS backup power supply, or a MIC module.
Integrated peripherals for development
The unit's body contains twelve programmable WS2812B RGB LEDs, an infrared receiver and transmitter, and an audio output with a buzzer. For direct control and service purposes, there are three programmable buttons along with four service LEDs, which simplifies local diagnostics.
