The SIRUI Astra Series 50mm T1.8 1.33X Full-frame Anamorphic Cine Lens (Z Mount, Neutral Flare) records video footage and photos with an anamorphic effect on mirrorless cameras. With a 50mm focal length and T1.8 aperture, the lens produces a constant 1.33× squeeze factor, which converts the image to a wide-screen cinematic 2.35:1 aspect ratio without the need for cropping. An aspherical element in the optical design reduces the overall size of the barrel and corrects image distortion. The SIRUI Astra Series 50 lens captures the scene with an oval bokeh and neutral flares.

Autofocus
Focusing uses an STM stepping motor that operates quietly and smoothly. This system responds quickly when tracking subjects during video shooting and for portrait photography. A switch on the lens barrel allows for a quick change between automatic and manual focusing. This allows the user to react promptly to changing situations in front of the camera when shooting.
Aperture Ring
The aperture is adjusted using the integrated aperture ring with either a smooth or clicked action. A switch on the body allows you to choose between these two modes according to your current needs for both photography and filming. The aperture lock prevents the set value from being changed accidentally in the Auto position as well as in the manual range when handling the equipment. The highest aperture number is 22 and the aperture value is T1.8.
Lens Controls
The body includes a customisable FN button, to which the user can assign a selected function in the camera menu to increase work efficiency. The front thread has a diameter of 67mm and the outer diameter of the front of the barrel is 72mm. Focusing works from a minimum distance of 50.5cm and the lens is compatible with LiDAR follow-focus systems. The construction includes sealing elements at critical points of the barrel. These seals protect the internal optics from the ingress of dust particles, splashing water and raindrops. The robust build withstands demanding daily use in the field.
