The Shelly SSR Addon for Shelly Pill module functions as a smart home accessory. The addon module is used to control two independent DC loads up to 30V and 300mA per channel. Dual-Channel Switching
The device contains two independent potential-free contacts, which are solid-state relay outputs. These outputs, labelled LOAD1 and LOAD2, operate without mechanical parts. The solid-state relays switch DC voltage up to 30V with a current of up to 300mA per channel. The galvanic isolation of the circuits increases the operational safety of the entire connection when switching different types of DC loads in a home installation.
Configurable Digital Input and Output
The module includes one adjustable digital pin labelled IO3. This configurable I/O port operates with a 3.3V logic level, and the user can set it as a digital input or digital output according to the needs of the specific installation. The pin is used to connect external sensors or to send digital signals to other parts of the system. A GND terminal is also available as a reference ground for connected sensors or power.
System Integration
Connection to the base unit is via a dedicated hardware interface. For installation, you connect the extension module via a five-terminal connector that communicates with the main device. Optional power terminals labelled 5V and GND are used to power peripheral devices or the unit itself. These terminals function as a power output for connected peripherals or as a 5V supply for the base module.
Operating Conditions and Properties
The device operates in a normal environment with an ambient operating temperature of 0°C to 40°C and a storage temperature of -20°C to 40°C at 30% to 70% RH.
