The Shelly Pro Addon LoRa extension module allows you to connect compatible Shelly Pro series devices via LoRa wireless technology with a range of up to 5km, enabling you to create automations even in large areas or places with limited network coverage. You can use it, for example, for the remote control and monitoring of solar parks, irrigation systems, public lighting, warehouses, or technology in remote buildings where a standard wireless connection may not be sufficient. The Shelly Pro Addon LoRa module connects directly to a compatible Shelly Pro device via a proprietary serial interface and supports an external antenna with an SMA connector, which allows you to optimise coverage in challenging conditions. Communication takes place in the EU868 band, and the integrated AES-CCM encryption helps to protect the transmitted data. With support for custom scripts, you can create automations tailored to your specific operations, such as controlling pumps, lighting, or other connected technologies. The module is designed for DIN rail mounting and is powered directly from the connected Shelly Pro device.
