PremiumCord Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 optical AOC fiber cable 8K@60Hz, gold plated connectors 20 m

PremiumCord HDMI 2.1 optical cable is designed to transmit video and audio signals over longer distances without any loss of quality. Thanks to a hybrid construction combining optical fibres and copper conductors, it handles a data rate of up to 48Gbps, enabling full 8K resolution at 60Hz or 4K at 120Hz. With a length of 20m, it is the ideal solution for connecting devices to TVs and projectors.

Active optical cable for long distances

Unlike standard copper cables, which suffer from signal degradation over longer distances, this model uses active optical technology (AOC). At its core is a combination of optical and copper conductors, where four OM3 optical fibres transmit high-speed video and audio data. The transmission is immune to electromagnetic interference. Seven additional copper conductors handle the power supply and transmission of low-frequency signals such as EDID or CEC. The result is stable and reliable transmission with a full bandwidth of 48Gbps, even over a length of twenty metres.

Support for video and audio standards

The cable fully supports HDMI 2.1 features for both gaming and watching movies. VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) technology synchronises the screen refresh rate with the graphics card output, eliminating screen tearing. ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) automatically switches your TV to low-latency game mode. Thanks to eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) support, the cable also transmits uncompressed audio formats like Dolby Atmos or DTS:X with up to 32 audio channels, which guarantees smooth gameplay and high-quality sound.

Durable construction and wide compatibility

The cable is designed with durability in mind. It features gold-plated connectors in a metal housing, which resist corrosion and mechanical wear while ensuring a firm connection. A cable diameter of 5mm and a minimum bending radius of 20mm make it easy to install even in tight spaces behind furniture or in cable trunking. Thanks to backward compatibility with HDMI 2.0 and 1.4 standards, you can also use the cable with older devices. Support for HDCP 2.3 content protection secures playback.
