The Philips TAT2200 wireless headphones feature a closed-back, in-ear design for everyday listening. Connection to your player is handled by Bluetooth 6.0 wireless technology, which maintains a stable, dropout-free signal transmission. The integrated Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) technology effectively suppresses ambient noise from your surroundings. With the charging case, the total battery life is up to 36 hours with noise cancelling turned off. The headphones meet the IPX4 rating, which means they are resistant to splashing water.

Sound Performance and Setting Options

The sound is delivered by 10mm dynamic drivers, which provide a natural performance with deep bass. The Philips Headphones mobile app includes an intuitive equaliser for adjusting frequencies according to your personal preferences. Users can activate the Dynamic Bass function for full sound even at low volume levels. The headphones support the SBC audio codec.

Active Ambient Noise Cancelling

The integrated Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) technology effectively dampens ambient sounds and noises. For safe movement in urban traffic, Awareness Mode allows ambient sounds into your ears. The system can be easily controlled via the touch panel on the body of the headphones or directly in the companion app. This function helps you stay focused on your audio content without external distractions.

Battery Life and Fast Charging

With the noise cancelling function turned off, the headphones work for 8 hours on a single charge, and the charging case provides an additional 28 hours of power. With ANC technology switched on, the playback time is reduced to 6 hours plus an additional 21 hours from the case. If the battery runs out, a quick charge feature helps, providing power for another 2 hours of use after just 10 minutes in the case. The modern USB-C interface is used to recharge the battery.

Four Microphones for Clear Calls

The design includes a total of four integrated microphones, with two on each side. These microphones work with an advanced artificial intelligence algorithm for noise reduction. The system filters out unwanted background sounds, so your voice sounds clear and intelligible during calls, even in noisy environments. A Mono mode is also available for making phone calls with only one active earbud.

Design and Fit

The ergonomically shaped SecureFit tips ensure a comfortable wear and a reliable fit in your ears. The package includes three sizes of interchangeable silicone tips for an optimal seal of the ear canal. Thanks to the IPX4 rating, the headphones are resistant to rain and sweat, allowing for hassle-free use in adverse weather. Additionally, the pocket-sized charging case includes a practical hole for attaching a lanyard.
