Philips Series 5400 LatteGo EP5447/90

The fastest cleaning

Philips always strives to find a solution to make your work as easy as possible, and this also applies to LatteGo fully automatic coffee machines. The innovative LatteGo milk system has only 2 parts and contains no tubes or other hidden components. It can be washed in just 15 seconds under running water* or in the dishwasher. In addition, the coffee machine automatically rinses itself after each coffee preparation. This will save you time and ensure the longest possible life for your coffee machine.

LatteGo milk system

Perfect your coffee with a layer of silky smooth milk foam. The unique and innovative LatteGo system mixes milk and air at high speed in the round frothing chamber and then adds a creamy layer of milk foam at the ideal temperature, without splashing. Enjoy your favourite cappuccino or latte whenever you feel like it.

12 types of drinks

Enjoy your favourite coffee drinks in exceptional moments whenever you feel like it and give your guests a pleasant experience with excellent coffee. Whether you crave an espresso, an americano, a latte macchiato, a flat white or any other coffee or milk drink, your Philips LatteGo EP5447/90 fully automatic coffee machine will offer you a perfect result, hassle-free and instantly. In addition to coffee drinks, you can also prepare delicious hot chocolate thanks to the hot water and silky milk foam.

100% ceramic grinders

The grinders are 100% ceramic: extremely hard and precise, so you can enjoy fresh aromatic coffee from at least 20,000 cups. The ceramic grinders do not overheat and thus preserve the taste of the coffee beans even with long-term use.

AquaClean filter

Our patented innovation, the AquaClean water filter, slows down limescale build-up and ensures that you get the most out of your fully automatic coffee machine. By changing the filter when prompted by the machine, you won't need to descale your machine for up to 5,000 cups** while enjoying the benefit of perfectly clean water. Once you install the AquaClean filter in your coffee machine, the descaling notification is automatically deactivated.

Intuitive colour display

The irresistible taste and aroma of coffee from fresh beans is just a touch of a button away. The intuitive colour TFT display allows you to easily select and prepare your favourite coffee without lengthy set-up.

12 grinder settings

Our durable ceramic grinders can be adjusted in 12 steps, so you can turn your beans into anything from ultra-fine powder to coarse grindings.

Perfect temperature and aroma

The intelligent Aroma Extract system for coffee preparation can achieve an optimal balance between brewing temperature and aroma extraction by keeping the water temperature between 90 and 98°C while regulating the water flow rate, so you can enjoy your delicious coffee every time.

Preserve the aroma of coffee beans

The Aroma seal protects your favourite coffee beans and ensures that they retain their original aroma over time, while reducing the noise of the grinding process.

Extra shot

The Extra Shot function on the LatteGo 5400 series coffee machines allows you to double the intensity of your coffee. The coffee is stronger, but without the off-putting bitter aftertaste.

User profiles

This fully automatic coffee machine offers a wide range of easy-to-use options for customising your drink to your taste. You can easily customise and save the length, strength and temperature of each drink in the coffee machine's memory. You can save up to four user profiles and a guest profile. When the guest profile is selected, you can still adjust the drink's properties, but the final recipe will not be saved. You can choose from a total of 5 coffee strength settings and 3 temperature settings. Don't be afraid to discover, experiment and dream up any drink you can imagine.

Removable brew unit

The brew unit is the heart of every fully automatic coffee machine and should be cleaned regularly. This fully removable brew unit allows for thorough cleaning by rinsing it under running water in the comfort of your own home without having to call for service.

Easy storage

You can easily seal the milk container with a special lid, so you can easily store the remaining milk in the fridge.
