ActiveSense technology

Revolutionary ActiveSense technology combines an integrated camera with artificial intelligence to identify the materials you are ironing. This means you can safely iron everything from denim and linen to silk and cashmere without waiting for temperature adjustment or sorting your clothes according to the type of fabric.

Automatic settings adjustments

Make ironing easier by automatically adjusting the settings. Powerful ironing with automatic temperature and steam adjustment delivers excellent results in any situation. What's more, the iron is ready for use in just two minutes.

Extra powerful steaming

Powerful and continuous steaming easily deals with the toughest of fabrics. With an extraordinary steam boost of up to 750g, even the most stubborn creases succumb in an instant. Continuous steam output of up to 180g/min* guarantees excellent results when steaming clothes and curtains vertically.
*190 g/min from production batch 2515 (year 2025, calendar week 15)

Intelligent automatic steam

The intelligent DynamiQ sensor recognises exactly how and when the iron moves. It automatically provides powerful steam when you need it the most. Not only does it make ironingfaster and easier, but it also reduces your energy bills.

Ultralight iron

As the Philips PerfectCare 9000 Series iron weighs a mere 0.97kg, it is exceptionally easy and comfortable to use. It glides like a dream across all fabrics while removing the toughest creases. The ultra-low weight makes vertical steaming easy, fast and efficient without causing unnecessary strain on your wrist.

No burns-guaranteed!

The fast-cooling soleplate guarantees that you can steam and iron all types of ironable fabrics without the risk of burns. Thanks to the preset temperature, you will no longer be at risk of damaging your clothes—100% guaranteed. You can quickly and efficiently smooth out creases from hard-wearing jeans and other tough fabrics through to delicate clothing such as silk blouses and cashmere sweaters. It is also no problem to iron garments with attachments, such as buttons and buckles.

SteamGlide Elite soleplate

An innovative SteamGlide Elite soleplate ensures superior results with smooth gliding and maximum scratch resistance. Its stainless-steel base is twice as hard as a regular aluminium base while Philips patented six-layer coating with advanced titanium layers glides effortlessly for the fastest results.

1.8l water tank

With a 1.8-litre capacity, you can iron and steam clothes continuously for up to two hours without refilling. When the water tank is empty, an indicator light will give you a gentle nudge. The transparent tank is simple to remove and easy to refill thanks to the large filling door.

Safe storage

Innovative ActiveSense technologynot only guarantees ironing without burns but also allows you to safely leave the hot iron resting directly on your clothes or ironing board without fear of damage. This also reduces wrist strain as it is not necessary to repeatedly lift the iron from its base. The quick-cooling soleplate takes care of everything, even if you leave the iron unattended.

Carry lock

The steam generator features a safety carry lock that secures the iron to the base station for easy transport and to reduce the risk of accidentally touching the hot soleplate.

Easy De-Calc Plus

Regular descaling protects your iron while maintaining powerful steam performance. The Easy De-Calc Plus system removes limescale and extends the service life of your iron. Easy De-Calc Plus continuously collects limescale. An indicator light and audible signal inform you when it is time for emptying. Once the iron has cooled down—just press the Easy De-Calc button—remove the cap and let the water and limescale particles flow.
