A permanent, year-round outdoor solution
The Philips Hue Festavia Permanent LED string lights are made for those who want their home's facade illuminated continuously all year round, not just at Christmas. Thanks to its low-volt design, you just plug it into an outdoor socket without needing any complex modifications. Use the adhesive tape or screws for secure mounting on gables, eaves, or facades. The goal is to install the lights once and for all, saving you the time and effort of packing and unpacking them every year.
Light pods with Chromasync™ effects
Festavia Permanent uses Chromasync™ technology, which lets each “pod” on the light string display subtle, smooth transitions between colours — from saturated tones to pastel shades. Each pod is designed to be visually striking even from a distance, while still blending with other exterior lighting effects.
Brightness and colour combinations with white LEDs
Each light pod provides approximately 50 lumens, which is enough for decorative lighting on facades and rooflines. Alongside rich and vibrant colours, the string is also equipped with dedicated white LEDs that provide a wide range of white tones, from the warmest to the coolest, suitable for everyday lighting.
A rich range of dynamic effects
The lighting is fully integrated into the Philips Hue app, enabling easy remote control, scheduling, and launching of dynamic scenes and special effects. Popular effects include Sparkle and Prism, which add a magical touch to your decorations. The string can also be synchronised with music via Spotify to create a pulsating light show, perfect for outdoor celebrations and parties.
Smart integration in the Hue ecosystem
To use all features, such as away-from-home control and automations, you need to pair the lights with a Hue Bridge. One key feature is the ability to integrate with Philips Hue Secure products. The lights can be automatically activated by a motion sensor or serve as a visual alarm. In the event of an unauthorised intrusion detection, a light alarm can be triggered, causing the string to flash red, which helps deter potential intruders.
