The Aspherical (ASPH) elements contribute to a more compact lens design while effectively suppressing both spherical and distortion aberrations, resulting in improved image sharpness and clarity. ED elements are used to correct chromatic aberration, allowing the lens to provide excellent contrast and sharpness while maintaining true-to-life colours across the entire frame - from the centre to the corners.
