The Noctua NF-A14x25r G2 PWM PC fan is a round-frame fan that builds on the proven design of the NF-A15 and incorporates advanced technologies from the NF-A12x25 fan. Its construction uses Sterrox liquid-crystal polymer (LCP) composite for high rigidity and stability. This material, along with the small gap between the blades and the frame, helps to create high static pressure and a focused airflow. The 4-pin PWM connector handles automatic speed control, while the included L.N.A. adapter offers the option to reduce the speed for quieter operation.

Fan material and aerodynamic design
The fan's body and rotor are made from Sterrox liquid-crystal polymer (LCP) composite. This material limits unwanted resonance and thermal expansion. The blades, featuring Progressive-Bend impeller technology, maintain a stable shape even at high speeds. The rigidity of the material reduces the gap between the blade tip and the frame for better aerodynamic efficiency.
Fan performance
Second-generation SSO2 bearings support smooth operation and rotor stability. The etaPERF motor with SupraTorque technology delivers high torque, which maintains a constant fan speed even when resistance increases, such as with dense cooler fins or radiators. The fan operates at a high rotational speed. The included L.N.A. adapter reduces the maximum speed for quieter operation.
Optimisation for CPU coolers
The manufacturer designed the round frame for mounting on large air CPU coolers. Its shape and mounting holes are fully compatible with the mounting systems of coolers like the Noctua NH-D15, NH-D15S or NH-U14S. Due to this design, the round shape of the fan frame better covers the fin area and directs the airflow straight through the passive part of the cooler, increasing heat dissipation efficiency.
