Mutually offset speeds and advanced etaPERF motor technology
The package contains two fans that have intentionally offset operating speeds of approximately 50 RPM. This small difference effectively prevents harmonic vibrations and the unpleasant humming that often occurs when two identical fans run side by side. This configuration results in a very balanced acoustic profile when installed on 240mm or 360mm water-cooling radiators. The etaPERF drive unit sets new standards in energy efficiency thanks to its low electrical impedance. The integrated control circuit uses a sensitive Hall sensor for precise commutation. The motor can convert electrical input into high torque with low losses, which ensures quiet operation of the entire system in any load mode.
SupraTorque function and Sterrox LCP material
The SupraTorque technology enables the fan to dynamically increase torque when air resistance increases. While conventional fans lose speed when installed on radiators, this system maintains the set speed regardless of back pressure. It offers a wide range of automatic control with the option of a complete stop at zero PWM signal. The impeller is made of a special liquid-crystal polymer that features exceptional tensile strength. This material has a low coefficient of thermal expansion and excellent damping properties. As a result, the blades do not deform even at high speeds, which prevents unwanted resonance and vibrations in the fan's structure.
Aerodynamic AAO frame
The designers have achieved a small distance between the blade tip and the inner wall of the frame, measuring just 0.5mm. This technological feature significantly reduces air leakage around the edges when working against high resistance. This makes the fan work much more efficiently on CPU coolers and radiators where high static pressure is required. The Advanced Acoustic Optimisation frame has integrated anti-vibration pads made of soft silicone on the corners. The Stepped Inlet Design creates controlled turbulence for an easier transition from laminar to turbulent flow. Microstructures on the inner surface suppress the noise of the passing blades and increase the overall suction capacity.
SSO2 bearing with metal casing and accessories
The rotating mechanism uses the second generation of the proven hydrodynamic bearing with a stabilising magnet. The entire bearing is housed in a brass casing, which ensures long-term mechanical durability and parameter stability. Users are provided with two NA-RC7 low-noise adaptors. A PWM splitter cable and 30cm extension cables with high-quality sleeving are also included, making clean cable management in the case easier. Rotor lock protection automatically cuts off the power in the event of a mechanical obstruction, thereby protecting the motor from damage.
