Digital camera autofocus with improved performance
The Nikon Z 5II has 68% faster speeds than the Z5. The autofocus system has taken a big leap forward in the Z5 series. Leveraging the power of EXPEED 7 and sensitivity down to -10 EV, the camera's autofocus is fast and accurate even after dark. * The Z5II offers advanced multi-object detection including 3D object tracking for superior accuracy. The camera is able to recognize nine different types of objects and also includes a special mode for bird photography.
*Measured in shooting mode using single focus (AF-S), medium focus field and ISO 100 equivalent sensitivity, at 20 °C and with an f/1.2 lens.

Nikon Z 5II captures every moment
Nikon Z 5II digital camera with fast continuous shooting up to 30 fps. /s and the buffer function before exposure captures the climax of each action, even if it occurs before the shutter button is pressed all the way down. * From still images to motion. Work in AF-A focus mode and you won't have to change focus modes yourself: the camera detects even the slightest movement and automatically switches from AF-S to AF-C focus mode as needed.
*Max. 30 sn. /s. In [C30] High-speed composition recording mode +. JPEG files only, fixed to JPEG [normal] format. When using the high-speed composition + recording mode, the electronic shutter may cause geometric distortion in the image depending on the type of subject and shooting conditions.

Digital camera with 7.5 EV vibration reduction
Vibration reduction in the IBIS camera body of up to 7.5 EV is a great help when shooting handheld. It can handle long exposures and ensure sharp capture of fast action and the use of long telephoto lenses. In addition, it ensures sharp objects even at the edges of the image field. For still images, focus-field-oriented vibration reduction is available to stabilize the area around the active focus field. The function works with all NIKKOR Z lenses without vibration reduction and keeps even subjects located at the edges of the image field sharp and blur-free. *
*Focus field-oriented vibration reduction only works in shooting mode and when using a NIKKOR Z lens without built-in vibration reduction. It is also not effective when displaying multiple focus fields.

FX format for maximum creativity when using a DSLR
Nikon Z 5II = high brightness and versatility plus fast response. Capture the whole scene with the Nikon Z 5II digital camera lens
The shortest focusing distance is only 0.3 m over the entire zoom range. This makes the whole scene yours - from nearby objects to infinity. The constant f/4 aperture ensures exceptional low-light performance and delivers consistent exposures across the entire focal length range. Get the highest image quality from your digital camera without having to set high ISO sensitivities.

Large bayonet with a range of options
Thanks to the extremely large diameter Nikon Z bayonet, NIKKOR Z lenses can capture more light across the entire field of view. In addition, due to the small distance between the bayonet and the image sensor, illumination losses at the edges of the image field are significantly suppressed. The result is exceptionally sharp images all the way to the edges of the image field across the entire focal length range, which is especially appreciated with digital mirrorless cameras.

Brilliant images for Nikon Z-series cameras across the entire image field
The resolution of this zoom lens allows it to faithfully reproduce every element of the captured scene. Vignetting is minimized to ensure uniform brightness across the entire image field. The result is a sharp image with vivid colours and high contrast right to the edges of the image field. Nikon Nano Crystal Coat anti-reflective layers suppress the appearance of reflections and veils, enhancing image brilliance even when shooting in backlight. These anti-reflective layers also show their perfect properties when shooting scenes with many direct light sources in the image field. By minimising sagittal coma, first-class reproduction of point light sources (e.g. street lighting at night) can be achieved. Point light sources are thus displayed as uniform circular areas even at the edges of the image field.

Exceptional colour and sharpness
Vivid colours and high contrast are a given with aspherical optical elements and aspherical ED glass optical elements. The combined focusing system of the NIKKOR Z lenses and the use of multiple focusing motors ensure perfect and stable focusing of subjects, ideal for Nikon Z 5II digital cameras. The lens focuses smoothly and noiselessly, making it ideal for still images and videos.

Your point of view in any light
High-speed, high-capacity data transfer between the lens and Nikon Z allows perfect distortion correction throughout the zoom range. Image sharpness is exceptional and straight lines are reproduced without distortion. The lens uses the vibration reduction built into the camera so you can shoot with shutter speeds up to 5 EV faster than would otherwise be possible. * Capture more brilliant images in diminishing daylight and cinematic scenes - without the unwanted effects of camera shake. Floating optical elements ensure precise focusing at short distances. The electromagnetic shutter ensures accurate exposures during fast continuous shooting.
*According to CIPA standards.

Only in your hands
The knurled command ring allows precise and intuitive operation. When shooting in AF mode, you can assign exposure correction control to the command ring. When shooting in manual focus mode, you can use the command ring as a focus ring. The refocusing speed is proportional to the rotation speed of the ring, allowing optimum control over precise focusing.

Quiet operation and smoothness - the ideal combination for digital mirrorless cameras
The optical design of the lens allows you to make the most of the wide dynamic range of Nikon Z cameras and capture exceptional video footage with an FX-format image field. Zoom in on the moments that make up the story. The very quiet stepper motor enables almost inaudible autofocusing. The zoom is also quiet, and thanks to the noiseless command ring, you'll be able to adjust the aperture without any clicking. In addition, the lens' combined focusing system allows for incredibly smooth and precise refocusing. Focal length changes during focusing and focus changes during zooming are minimized.
