Events and portraits
Enjoy the freedom of choice. You can zoom in on dramatic details of distant objects or set a wide focal length to capture the entire scene. Even very fast action will be captured really sharply. Portraits with subtly reproduced out-of-focus areas can be shot at a distance even in low light. The shortest focusing distance of just 0.5 m allows you to focus on objects that are closer.

Ideal for video
Whether you're staging a scene or zooming into distant panoramas, this lens focuses smoothly and noiselessly. The recorded 4K footage is sharp and stable, even when you're filming while walking. For both still photography and video recording, the NIKKOR Z 50-250mm f/4.5-6.3 DX excels at every moment. Built-in Vibration Reduction allows you to shoot with shutter speeds up to 5 EV slower than would otherwise be possible. Images in diminishing daylight will be more brilliant and cinematic scenes will be free of unwanted camera shake effects. Focusing is fast and almost inaudible.

Excellent manoeuvrability and compact design
Use the noiseless command ring for key functions such as manual focus, aperture control or exposure correction. The Buttonless lens retraction mechanism can be operated quickly and easily. Easily extend or retract the lens by turning the zoom ring. The lens is very compact when retracted. When you insert the lens, it locks to prevent it from sliding out in the bag.

In the field of cameras, particularly among professionals, Nikon quickly gained a reputation as a top manufacturer, which continues today.
