Basswood body
The body construction uses basswood for the top, back and sides to achieve a balanced sound with a warm tone. The all-wood basswood neck features a fingerboard made from composite Tech Wood material and is joined to the body with a Set Neck glued joint. This construction combination increases the overall stability of the instrument during intensive use. A gloss finish protects the wooden parts from external elements and makes regular maintenance easier.
Nylon strings
The six nylon strings offer low resistance when pressing your fingers on the fingerboard, which is especially helpful for beginners learning their first chords. Nylon strings make practising easier and help reduce overall hand fatigue during long playing sessions. This lets the player practise without excessive pressure on their fingertips for greater comfort while learning. These strings also provide the sonic flexibility needed to properly master playing techniques.
Stable tuning mechanism
Tuning is handled by a mechanism with chrome hardware and durable metal keys, which reduce the risk of going out of tune while playing. White butterfly keys made from imitation mother-of-pearl complement the functional elements of the tuning system and make turning easier. The Technicolour bridge transfers the vibrations of the nylon strings directly to the soundboard and works with the fingerboard to achieve a balanced sound transmission. The Set Neck fixed neck system supports overall resonance.
Body dimensions
With a total length of 100cm, the instrument has a width of 37cm and a body depth of 10cm. Its low weight of 1.6kg doesn't put excessive strain on the musician's wrist when playing, whether sitting or standing. The compact dimensions make it easy to transport the instrument to regular lessons, rehearsals or solo performances. The traditional body shape corresponds to a 39″ or 4/4 size, which is suitable for adult players and older children for whom the guitar is not too large.
Fingerboard with nineteen frets
The Technicolour fingerboard features a total of 19 frets, providing a wide tonal range for various musical styles. Even pressure on the frets helps to achieve clean articulation of individual notes and enables smooth transitions between chords. The right-handed body orientation without a cutaway preserves the traditional acoustic properties of the resonance chamber. The guitar fully corresponds to the classical concept.
