Powerful power delivery and memory support
The Duet Rail Power System with a total of 14+2+1 digital phases ensures reliable power delivery. A pair of 8-pin CPU connectors, along with 60A Smart Power Stage components, guarantees a stable power supply during overclocking. The eight-layer PCB with a copper surface and server-grade material optimises bandwidth and signal transfer speed. DDR5 memory support with Memory Boost technology and an SMT process achieves frequencies over 8200MT/s when overclocking, while the High-Efficiency Mode and Latency Killer features reduce latency by up to 12%, contributing to higher gaming performance.
Extended Frozr cooling design
The extended cooling system covers the VRM components and ensures effective heat dissipation even when all processor cores are under full load. The M.2 Shield Frozr cools SSDs in the M.2 slots, while 7W/mK thermal pads on the MOSFETs and chokes maintain stable temperatures. The enlarged chipset heatsink then reduces noise and is designed to limit dust build-up while maintaining high cooling efficiency. The Frozr AI Cooling system automatically detects CPU and GPU temperatures and adjusts fan speeds for optimal performance. The Combo Fan Header feature automatically recognises both PWM and DC fans and pumps, and the Hysteresis function ensures a smooth start-up for quiet operation.
Connectivity and storage
The board offers a complete set of modern interfaces, including a USB 4.0 port with transfer speeds up to 40Gb/s, a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 port with speeds of 20Gb/s, and other USB 3.2 Gen 2 and Gen 1 ports. The Realtek 8126VB 5G LAN controller, along with the Wi-Fi 7 module which supports 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz frequencies, provides speeds up to 5.8Gb/s and Bluetooth 5.4. The AI LAN Manager feature automatically prioritises gaming traffic for minimal latency. The storage system includes a Lightning Gen 5 M.2 slot with a PCIe 5.0 x4 interface, reaching speeds up to 128Gb/s, and another M.2 slot with a PCIe 4.0 interface.
