Mac mini M4 PRO 2024 CTO
Mac mini M4 PRO 2024 CTO
Mac mini with the Apple M4 Pro chip is built for those who need more than the standard M4. The M4 Pro chip, featuring a 14-core CPU, 20-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine for AI acceleration, delivers the performance required for truly demanding projects – from complex 3D scenes and compiling millions of lines of code to editing high-resolution video without a single stutter. The 24GB unified memory with 273GB/s bandwidth is more than double that of the M4 version, ensuring that even the most memory-intensive creative or development tasks never run out of memory. A lightning-fast 2TB SSD and three Thunderbolt 5 ports with speeds up to 120Gb/s open up connectivity options that were once exclusive to professional workstations. For the first time in its history, Mac mini features front-facing USB-C ports and an audio jack right where you need them, while support for up to three independent displays – including 8K output via HDMI – ensures a workspace without boundaries. All of this comes in a compact 12.7×12.7×5.0cm frame running macOS with Apple Intelligence.

Apple M4 Pro delivers performance for truly demanding projects
The Apple M4 Pro chip takes Mac mini performance to a whole new level. The 14-core CPU, combining 10 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores, effortlessly handles complex 3D scenes, compiling millions of lines of code, or heavy multitasking with dozens of open apps. The 16-core GPU with hardware-accelerated ray tracing ensures smooth rendering of graphically intensive content, while the 16-core Neural Engine powers Apple Intelligence features – from smart writing and summarisation to image generation directly on the device, without sending your data to the cloud.
Three independent displays and a workspace without boundaries
Mac mini M4 Pro supports the connection of up to three independent displays simultaneously, each in exceptional resolution. Run three displays at up to 6K resolution at 60Hz via Thunderbolt 5, or one display via HDMI at up to 8K resolution at 60Hz or 4K at 240Hz, to open up a workspace that adapts to any professional scenario – from video editing and graphic design to software development with multiple windows open at once.
macOS and Apple Intelligence work together seamlessly
macOS delivers an advanced environment that naturally adapts to any working style. Enjoy smart window organization, the powerful Safari browser, and deep integration with your other Apple devices. Apple Intelligence adds a layer of personal AI directly into the system, helping you with writing, summarising, generating images, or replying to messages – all with a focus on privacy, which Apple places first. Copy text on your iPhone and instantly paste it on your Mac, take FaceTime calls, or send messages via iMessage. The Apple ecosystem works as one without requiring any setup.
Connectors at the front and back, right where you need them
For the first time, Mac mini M4 Pro features ports right on the front, putting them within easy reach. Two USB-C ports with speeds up to 10Gb/s and a 3.5mm audio jack let you connect accessories instantly without reaching behind the monitor or twisting cables. On the back, you will find three Thunderbolt 5 ports with speeds up to 120Gb/s for connecting displays, external storage, or docking stations, an HDMI port supporting up to 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 240Hz, and Gigabit Ethernet, with the option to upgrade to 10Gb Ethernet for maximum network performance.
Build the perfect setup around your Mac mini M4 Pro
Mac mini ships without a display, keyboard, or mouse, giving you the freedom to build a workspace tailored exactly to your needs and taste. To get the ultimate visual experience, pair the M4 Pro chip with a 4K or 5K monitor to make full use of the graphics performance of the 20-core GPU. Apple Studio Display or Pro Display XDR are natural choices for demanding creatives, but high-quality 4K monitors also work brilliantly. For control, we recommend the Magic Keyboard with Touch ID for convenient and secure fingerprint login, alongside the Magic Mouse or Magic Trackpad for intuitive macOS gesture control, which feels truly exceptional on the trackpad. If you plan to make video calls, please note that a webcam is not included, making it well worth investing in a high-quality external Full HD or 4K camera.
