The Inter-Tech adapter lets you connect up to four SATA drives to a single Mini-SAS (SFF-8087) port on a controller or motherboard. With a cable length of 1m, it provides plenty of flexibility for internal routing in server cases and workstations. Supporting the Serial ATA III standard, the cable delivers transfer speeds of up to 6Gbit/s for each connected drive. It is suitable for both 2.5" and 3.5" drives, and thanks to Plug & Play functionality, installation is quick and easy.
