Key Features of the Imou Cruiser SC IP Camera
- The device supports dual-band wireless connectivity on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands
- Motorised rotation covers a horizontal angle of 355° and a vertical angle of 90°
- An integrated microphone and speaker provide two-way audio transmission
- Data is stored on a memory card with a capacity of up to 512GB
- The warning system uses a red-and-blue light and a sound alarm for deterrence
- Smart algorithms recognise people and vehicles
Image Parameters
The 1/2.7" 8-Megapixel Progressive CMOS imaging sensor captures images in 3840×2160 pixel resolution at a frame rate of 15fps. The fixed 3.6mm focal length lens provides viewing angles of 89° horizontally, 45° vertically and 105° screen sizely. H.265 and H.264 video compression reduces storage capacity and network load requirements. This gives the user a smooth recording with a high level of detail.
IP Night Vision
The device uses hybrid night vision with a range of up to 30m in complete darkness. Four integrated illuminators combine infrared diodes and spotlights to achieve optimal light output. The camera automatically activates colour mode when a person is detected in the monitored area. This system contributes to better identification of objects in poor lighting conditions.
Detection and Smart Functions
Advanced algorithms recognise movement, sound, human figures and vehicles with high accuracy. The system includes line crossing detection, intrusion into a dedicated zone, people counting and lens obscuration detection. The red-and-blue warning light and audible alarm react instantly to any intrusion. Mobile notifications immediately inform the user of every event recorded.
Sound and Communication
The built-in microphone and speaker provide full-duplex, two-way communication in real-time. The user can talk to people in front of the lens directly through the mobile app. The integrated speaker is used to loudly warn unwanted visitors. The sound system thus extends the surveillance capabilities to include audio recording and direct interaction.
Record Storage and Durability
Motorised rotation of 355° horizontally and 90° vertically, together with an eightx digital zoom, covers a vast area. The IP66-rated design withstands adverse weather conditions in a temperature range from -30°C to +50°C. Recordings are stored on a MicroSD card with a capacity of up to 512GB, a network recorder or cloud storage. The continuous recording mode saves space when the scene is inactive.
Connectivity and Application
Connectivity includes a wireless connection or an ethernet port with a speed of 100Mb/s. ONVIF protocol support facilitates integration into camera systems from other manufacturers. The Imou Life mobile app for Android and iOS systems is available in Czech, Slovak and English.
