Detection parameters and area coverage
The sensor offers a 90° motion detection angle and achieves a coverage distance of up to 16m when mounted at a height of 2.2m. The system uses infrared radiation and two-phase programming to evaluate human body movement, which reduces the risk of false alarms. You can set the detection sensitivity in the app to various levels according to the specific environmental conditions.
Wireless motion sensor
Wireless transmission occurs on the 868MHz frequency with a signal range to the central unit of up to 800m in open space. The system supports easy pairing by scanning the QR code on the sensor's body. The RED DA certified secure signal transmission protects communication against interference, and the system immediately reports any attempt to jam the band to the user.
Compatibility and system integration
The iGET SECURITY MP30 motion sensor integrates with the iGET SECURITY M6-4G security system. The central unit constantly checks the sensor's availability, signal strength, and battery status. The sensor sends regular check signals at a configurable interval of 36 to 128 seconds, which enables immediate detection of a lost connection with the main unit and increases the reliability of the entire system.
Durability
The device operates reliably in a temperature range from -20°C to 60°C and tolerates an operating humidity of up to 95% RH. The IP65-rated housing protects the internal electronics from rain, snow, and dust. Tamper protection triggers an immediate alarm in the event of an attempt to dismantle or damage the housing, thereby preventing unauthorised interference by third parties.
Power and energy efficiency
A single 3V CR123A battery powers the sensor, providing up to 5 years of operation depending on the number of detections. The standby current is as low as 45µA, and the operating current during transmission is 50mA. The app automatically notifies you when the battery is low, and the signal LED on the sensor's body stays lit when it's discharged.
Motion sensor for M6-4G alarm
The sensor has immunity to animals weighing up to 35kg, preventing false alarms from pets. The signal LED, which lights up with every motion detection, can be completely switched off if needed. The back cover includes pre-drilled mounting holes for easy wall mounting using the supplied screws and wall plugs.
