The Makita DC18RC Fast Charger (Li-ion 7.2 / 14.4 / 18 V) uses intelligent charging technology to monitor the voltage, current, and temperature inside the battery, which significantly extends the battery's lifespan. The charger has a built-in cooling system that supplies cold air to the battery, which in turn saves the battery and speeds up the entire charging process. The Makita DC18RC can fully charge an 18V BL1830B battery in a record time of 22 minutes. The fast charger is designed for Makita Li-Ion, Ni-MH and Ni-Cd 7.2V–18V batteries.
