The IP camera, in a durable Bullet design, is intended for both indoor and outdoor use, operating reliably in a temperature range from -30°C to 60°C. The 1/3" Progressive Scan CMOS imaging sensor is complemented by a fixed lens with a focal length of 2.8mm, which offers a wide horizontal viewing angle of 96.5°. colourVu technology ensures a full-colour display throughout the night using a highly sensitive sensor and an F1.0 aperture. The integrated white LED spotlight illuminates the area up to a distance of 30m in zero ambient light. This system provides colour details even in complete darkness, making it easier to identify objects in the recorded video.
Event Detection and Instant Alarms
The device constantly evaluates the scene and responds to motion detection, video tampering, or other system exceptions. When an event is recorded, the system can send an alert to an email address, trigger a snapshot, or inform a monitoring centre. This gives users an immediate overview of unusual situations in the monitored area without the need for constant live stream monitoring.
Network Features, Power, and Durability
The device does not have a slot for local memory cards, which increases data security against physical theft of the camera. The camera sends all video recordings directly to a network FTP server or cloud storage for secure retention. Users can set different recording modes based on a time schedule or triggered by motion detection. The aluminium alloy body with IP67 certification reliably withstands adverse weather conditions, water, and dust. The camera operates in a wide temperature range from -30°C to 60°C, allowing for year-round outdoor operation. A flexible joint with 360° rotation and up to 90° tilt simplifies precise aiming at the monitored area when mounting on a wall or ceiling. Network connectivity is provided by a single reliable RJ-45 Ethernet port supporting 10/100Mbps speeds. Power can be supplied by a standard 12V DC adapter or directly over the network cable using PoE 802.3af technology. Remote management and live viewing are enabled by the Hik-Connect mobile app for iOS, Android, and Windows operating systems, as well as standard web browsers.
