Grandstream GWN7830 managed L3 switch is designed to manage and expand your business network infrastructure. It offers a combination of two 1Gbps RJ-45 ports, six gigabit SFP ports and four 10Gbps SFP+ ports for flexible connectivity. With a total switching capacity of 98.304Gbps and L3 features such as static routing, RIP and OSPF, it handles even demanding network operations. Manage the switch locally via the built-in controller, or remotely using the GWN.Cloud platform and GWN Manager on-premise software.

Advanced network management and L3 features

Grandstream GWN7830 switch delivers advanced network traffic management thanks to L3 features. These include static routing and dynamic RIP and OSPF protocols, which optimise data paths in large networks. For efficient network organisation, you can use up to 4000 VLANs, while Quality of Service (QoS) prioritises critical applications such as voice or video transmissions. Manage the device via the built-in web controller or centrally through the GWN.Cloud platform and GWN Manager on-premise solution, making it easy to configure and monitor multiple devices at once.

Flexible connectivity and robust security

The port configuration offers high connectivity flexibility. Two metallic RJ-45 ports connect end devices, six SFP ports are ideal for fibre-optic connections, and four 10Gigabit SFP+ ports are designed for high-speed backbone links or server connections. A range of features protects network security, including DHCP snooping, ARP Inspection, IP Source Guard and DoS protection. Additional security elements include Port security, 802.1X authentication and access rights management using Access Control Lists (ACL).
