Extreme performance and transmission technology
This model operates in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with a total wireless network throughput of 6 Gbps (AX6000). It uses advanced 4×4:4 MU-MIMO technology combined with OFDMA to efficiently handle heavy traffic and minimize latency. Inside the chassis are 8 internal antennas that optimize data transmission for demanding applications. The access point can handle up to 512 concurrently connected client devices, and Advanced QoS guarantees priority for real-time services such as voice-over-Wi-Fi calls and video streams.
Connectivity and security standards
To harness the wireless potential, the hardware is equipped with one 2.5-gigabit Ethernet port (RJ-45) with PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) power support and one 2.5-gigabit SFP port for high-speed optical connectivity. A high level of network security is ensured by the latest WPA3 encryption standards, secure boot features against unauthorized tampering and locking critical data with digital signatures. Each device has a unique security certificate and a random default password.
Flexible network management
Installation and subsequent management is facilitated by a built-in controller in the web-based user interface that can manage up to 50 local GWN Series APs. For larger and distributed deployments, the GWN platform is fully supported. Cloud enabling unlimited management from the cloud, or the GWN Manager software solution designed for local management of up to 3,000 access points.
