The Gigaset DESK 200 combines the most important telephone functions with a particularly slim and compact design. It is therefore suitable as a space-saving desk phone, or it can be quickly and easily mounted on the wall. The Gigaset DESK 200 can be connected to the landline network or used as part of an internal telephone network at home or in the office. The Gigaset DESK 200 does not require a separate power supply; power is supplied directly via the telephone line. Commissioning is therefore particularly simple: connect the Gigaset DESK 200 to the telephone socket (public network, private branch exchange or gateway) and the telephone is ready to use.

Visual and audible call signalling
The melody and volume of the Gigaset DESK 200 can be conveniently adjusted. You can choose from three different melodies, which can be set to three different volume levels. In addition, the visual call signalling via the LED on the handset helps to ensure you don't miss a single call, even in particularly noisy environments. If you want some peace and quiet, the ringer can also be turned off. Incoming calls are then only signalled visually.
Quickly connected
Up to ten telephone numbers can be stored as speed dials, allowing you to quickly connect with the people you talk to most often. The speed-dial numbers are noted on the supplied paper insert and are therefore always at hand. Thanks to the practical redial function, you can immediately resume your last call at the touch of a button. If you need to speak to someone in the room and don't want the person on the other end of the line to hear, put the call on hold and press the mute button. This way, no one will be able to hear you on the phone. Another important feature for anyone with hearing impairments, the Gigaset DESK 200 is hearing aid compatible.
Dialling
The DESK 200 is suitable for both landline and telephone system connections. It supports both common dialling methods and thus offers maximum flexibility for an analogue telephone connection. It has pulse dialling (IWV) and multi-frequency dialling (DTMF). Depending on the telephone system, it may be necessary to change the dialling method or the flash time of the telephone.
