Fujifilm Fujinon GF 30mm f/5.6 TILT SHIFT

Fujifilm Fujinon GF 30mm f/5.6 TILT SHIFT
Uncompromising image quality, accurate colour, great detail and maximum precision. The GF30 mm f/5.6 T/S is a wide-angle lens with a tilt-up design, a fixed focal length of 30 mm (eq. 24 mm) and an angle of view of 84.7°. Optimized for Fujifilm's GFX-series digital mirrorless cameras equipped with a large format sensor, it records all lens adjustments directly in the metadata of your files. The lens meets professional needs for landscape photography, where everything in the frame is in focus from the grass in the foreground to distant mountains, or for shooting buildings and interiors without distortion and aberrations.

Key features of the Fujifilm Fujinon GF 30mm f/5.6 TILT SHIFT
- Equivalent focal length of 24 mm for full-frame cameras
- Tilt/shift function to control perspective and depth of field
- Three aspherical elements and two ED elements to eliminate aberrations
- Swivel mechanism for adjusting the direction of tilt and shift
- Maximum aperture f/5.6, minimum aperture f/32 for flexibility in exposure control
- Focusing system for precise control, ideal for architecture and landscape
- Robust construction with tripod attachment to ensure correct positioning of the object
Excellent resolution and detailed image quality without distortion
The GF30mm f/5.6 T/S offers a resolution of more than 100 megapixels without the need for electronic distortion correction or lateral chromatic aberration. It is designed for use in situations where image quality is paramount, strongly suppresses spherical aberration, comatic aberration and image curvature. It produces high-resolution images with exceptional detail from the centre to the corners, even when using the shift function.

Precise focus and perspective control with tilt/shift functions
The optical axis tilt and shift function allows parallel shifting of the optical axis to change the relationship of the optical axis to the image plane and control the focus area and perspective control. Tilt/shift adjustment is achieved by a combination of manual adjustment across the two lens mechanisms.
Creative depth of field control and selective focus with tilt function
Tilt ±8.5° allows you to change the tilt angle of the optical system relative to the sensor plane for parallax correction. This can be used to create a shallow depth of field or to achieve effects such as selective focus, where only a certain part of the image is sharp and the rest is blurred. Tilting is particularly useful in situations where you want two differently spaced subjects to be in focus and tilt is not possible.

Solving perspective problems with the shift function in architectural photography
Shift of up to ±15 mm shifts the lens optics relative to the sensor without changing the angle or direction of focus. Shift solves perspective problems, especially when photographing architecture. When photographing tall buildings or tight spaces, the shift function can be used to avoid converging lines towards the top to make buildings appear less distorted and improve their balance within the frame.
Flexible rotary adjustment of the T/S mechanism for creative perspective control
The ±90° swivel adjustment of the T/S mechanism allows the direction of movement of the tilt and shift function to be adjusted from perpendicular to parallel in angles of 0°, 30°, 60° and 90°. Rotary settings are useful for achieving different effects and controlling perspective in different directions, allowing photographers to produce many creative images. For each image taken with the GF30mm f/5.6 T/S, the built-in sensor detects and records the amount of shift and rotation set. This information can be checked in live preview mode and is also recorded in the image data and can be recalled when processing RAW files for use in post-production.
Advanced optical design and technology for exceptional image quality
The optical design consists of 16 optical elements in 11 groups including three aspherical elements, two ED elements and one Super ED element. Advanced optical design eliminates distortion and various aberrations. Fujifilm's unique Nano GI Coating technology controls the refractive index on the lens surface, reducing image doubling, suppressing light flare and veiling, and ensuring sharp, detailed results. The lens is equipped with a special tripod attachment that has been specially developed to maintain the position of the subject relative to the lens even during panning. This avoids parallax problems and facilitates accurate fusion of multiple images.
