The Freewell Real Lens Hood is designed specifically for the Sony RX1R III camera. It combines the function of a lens hood with a hybrid filter, which consists of a polarising (CPL) filter and a 1/4 strength Black Mist filter. This not only protects the lens, but also enhances contrast, reduces reflections and gives your images a cinematic feel. The lens hood offers innovative touch-free control of the integrated filter and a Quick Flip hinged design for fast changes. The body of the lens hood is made from lightweight and durable CNC-machined aluminium.

Innovative control and creative filter options

This lens hood stands out with its advanced control system. The integrated hybrid filter combines polarising (CPL) and Black Mist components, giving you wide creative possibilities. The polarising part of the filter effectively suppresses reflections from non-metallic surfaces, such as water or glass, while increasing colour saturation and contrast. The 1/4 strength Black Mist filter softens highlights, reduces overall contrast and gives shots a cinematic look. The Quick Flip hinged mechanism makes it easy to change filters quickly without having to remove the hood. Another feature is the lens cap with an NFC chip, which provides access to digital manuals.
