The internal data storage capacity tells you how much space you will have for your data. If your phone's internal storage is less than 1GB , you will only have enough space for the bare minimum needed to run the phone. You will be able to store text-based data, such as notes or contacts. A larger flash memory with a 16GB capacity is the baseline if you want to use all the features your smartphone offers. If you opt for a model with a 32 or 64GB capacity, you may not even need an extra memory card. 128GB or more gives you the option to store high-definition maps of the entire world .
