DAC signal-to-noise ratio

The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of a DAC expresses the ratio between the amplitude of the useful signal and the noise level of the output signal. Higher SNR values indicate better conversion quality because they indicate a lower noise level of the output audio relative to the useful signal itself. Signal-to-noise ratio is a key factor in achieving high audio performance and detail reproduction.
