The Dangbei MP1 Max projector uses DLP imaging technology to project an image in native 4K UHD resolution of 3840 × 2160. The smart projector uses a hybrid light source that combines a triple laser with LED technology. This provides a brightness of 3100 ISO lumens and covers 110% of the BT.2020 colour gamut with high colour accuracy of ΔE<1. The Google TV operating system gives you access to licensed streaming services and apps like Netflix and YouTube. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 provides fast data transfer and Bluetooth 5.2 connects to accessories. Thanks to its short throw distance, the 4K projector creates an image with a screen size of 101.6cm to 762cm, even in smaller spaces. The InstanPro AI toolkit takes care of fully automatic calibration, including focus, keystone correction, obstacle avoidance and adjusting brightness to ambient light conditions.

The Triple Laser + LED hybrid light source provides high brightness for a clear and high-contrast image, even in rooms that are not completely dark. The projector displays a wide colour gamut of 110% BT.2020 with a colour accuracy of ΔE<1, contributing to faithful colour reproduction and smooth gradients. The intelligent cooling system maintains a low operating noise level of under 24dB in standard mode while protecting the light source from overheating, ensuring its long-term reliability.
Image automation with InstanPro AI
InstanPro AI Image Setup technology automates the complete image setup without any need for manual intervention. The system includes features like auto-focus, keystone correction, obstacle avoidance on the projection surface, and Screen Fit. The projector also automatically adjusts the brightness according to the ambient lighting to maintain optimal contrast. In addition, the digital zoom lets you reduce the image size down to 50% of its original size without having to physically move the device.
Smart features and connectivity
The integrated Google TV operating system offers access to content from officially licensed apps like Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video. The projector uses dual-band Wi-Fi 6 for fast and stable streaming of high-resolution content. Bluetooth 5.2 technology handles the wireless connection of peripherals and audio systems. You can mirror content from your phone or laptop using the built-in Google Cast feature. 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage ensure the smooth running of applications.
Surround sound and 3D projection
Two built-in 12W speakers create an impressive soundscape without the need for an external audio system. The projector supports Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual:X sound formats to create a surround effect and clear dialogue. The device can also play 3D content from various sources, including Blu-ray 3D, in both Left-Right and Top-and-Bottom formats. For a wired connection to gaming consoles or soundbars, there are two HDMI 2.1 ports, one of which supports eARC. The projector also has a USB 2.0 port, a 3.5mm jack port and a DC-IN.

Native resolution vs. maximum resolution
