The Dahua IPC-P5DP- IP camera provides advanced security thanks to a dual-lens system with a total resolution of 5+5MP, which allows for simultaneous monitoring of two different areas from multiple angles. This device combines a fixed lens with a motorised PTZ head, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the monitored area with no blind spots. The device uses hybrid night vision with a range of up to 50m and intelligent AI algorithms for precise detection of people and vehicles. Its IP66-rated design makes the camera suitable for both outdoor and indoor installation, and it is powered by a 12V DC mains supply using a mains adaptor.

Image Quality with Two Lenses
The camera has two independent 1/3" CMOS sensors that provide a detailed image at 2880 × 1620 pixels resolution with a frame rate of 15 FPS. Depending on the specific version, the system includes either a combination of 2.8mm and 6mm lenses, or two 3.6mm lenses with an F1.6 aperture. The wide-angle 2.8mm lens offers a 95° horizontal field of view, while the 6mm lens with a 49° angle is used for more detailed shots at longer distances. Modern H.265+ compression technology significantly reduces bandwidth and storage requirements while maintaining high-quality recording.
Hybrid Night Vision
For monitoring in low light and complete darkness, the camera uses an intelligent night illumination system. This combines traditional infrared LEDs with warm white light for a full-colour image. With the 2.8mm and 6mm lens configuration, the infrared illumination reaches a distance of up to 50m, and the warm light has a range of up to 40m. In the symmetrical version with two 3.6mm lenses, the range is 30m for both types of illumination, ensuring flexible adaptation to lighting conditions.
Smart Detection and Active Deterrence
Integrated AI algorithms effectively analyse the captured scene and reliably recognise human figures and cars, eliminating false alarms caused by insects, falling leaves or changes in light. The AI auto-tracking function allows the rotating lens to automatically follow moving objects in the field of view. When the defined area is breached, the camera activates a built-in light and sound alarm, which acts as an immediate warning to the intruder and simultaneously sends a notification to the user.
Two-Way Audio and Communication
The camera body integrates a sensitive microphone and a sufficiently loud speaker for real-time audio transmission. This hardware enables two-way audio communication with people near the camera directly through the mobile app. The microphone captures clear sound from the surroundings for better identification of the situation on the recording, while the speaker is used for voice warnings or for normal communication with visitors at the entrance to the property.
Data Storage and Durable Construction
Recordings can be stored locally on a MicroSD memory card with a capacity of up to 256GB, which is a reliable solution with no additional fees. Alternatively, storage on the cloud is available for data security in case the camera is damaged. The robust plastic housing with an IP66 rating withstands heavy rain and dust, and allows for stable operation in a temperature range from -20°C to +50°C when mounted on a wall.
Connectivity and Application
Network connectivity is provided by a 2.4GHz WiFi wireless interface with support for the modern standard for a stable, interference-free connection. An RJ-45 LAN Ethernet port is available for a reliable wired connection. Fast setup is facilitated by wireless pairing via Bluetooth. Device management, live stream monitoring, and receiving mobile notifications are handled by the compatible DMSS mobile app in Czech, which supports Android and iOS operating systems.
