The Dahua KIT/BF8CP-0210B-XL/M0508 IP camera captures its surroundings in high resolution at 3840 × 2160 px and 15 frames per second. Its Bullet design is IP66 rated for reliable outdoor operation in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 60°C. Hybrid night vision combines an IR illuminator with warm white light for colour recording in poor light conditions. The integrated PIR sensor detects the heat signatures of people and vehicles up to 12m away. Power is supplied by a built-in 32.4Wh battery, which is supplemented by the solar panel included in the package.

Image parameters
The 1/2.82" CMOS sensor captures video at a resolution of 3840 × 2160 px with a frame rate of 15 FPS. The fixed lens with a focal length of 2.1mm and an aperture of F1.6 provides a wide field of view with a horizontal angle of 123° and a vertical angle of 66°. The modern H.265 compression format effectively reduces data stream requirements and saves space on the memory card while maintaining recording sharpness.
Hybrid night lighting
The device uses an advanced lighting system with two multi-core sources that combine IR light and warm white light. When there is insufficient ambient light, the device works in hybrid mode, where the IR illumination has a range of up to 15m. The warm light, with a range of up to 20m, activates colour recording when an event is detected and simultaneously illuminates the monitored area.
IP camera detection functions
The integrated PIR sensor detects heat signatures within a range of up to 12m (when installed at a height of 2.5m horizontally) and 8m (when installed at a height of 2m at a 30° angle from the horizontal). Motion Detection 2.0 algorithms reliably recognise human figures and cars to eliminate false alarms. Motion tracking with the Auto tracking function keeps the detected object in the frame, while the light and sound alarm immediately warns unauthorised visitors.
Two-way audio transmission
Surrounding sounds are recorded by the built-in microphone, which supports G.711a, G.711Mu, and PCM compression formats. The built-in high-power speaker is used for voice reproduction or to trigger a warning siren during an alarm. Two-way audio communication facilitates direct handling of visitors at the entrance or warning people near the device without the need for personal contact.
Data storage in the IP camera
An integrated slot for MicroSD memory cards is used for local storage of captured video clips. The device supports storage media with a capacity of up to 512GB, which provides ample space for long-term data retention. A special AOV power-saving mode enables recording with very low electricity consumption.
Connectivity and application
Wireless network connection is provided by dual-band Wi-Fi technology supporting IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax standards in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. The initial setup is simplified by quick Bluetooth pairing with a mobile phone. Remote management and live streaming are handled by the DMSS app for Android and iOS operating systems, and there is also support for the compatible ONVIF protocol.
