Solar energy on the go
The ChoeTech 60W is a practical solution for getting power when you're away from a standard electrical socket. Its maximum output of 60W makes it ideal for travelling, camping, trips to the water, or other outdoor activities. The panel can be connected to compatible portable power stations and use sunlight to keep them charged.
22.4% efficiency and a double-sided design
The monocrystalline solar cells used achieve an efficiency of 22.4%, allowing them to effectively convert sunlight into electrical energy. The panel's double-sided design can utilise not only the light falling directly on the front, but also some of the radiation reflected from the surrounding surface onto the back. The amount of energy gained depends on the intensity of the sun, the position of the panel and the surrounding conditions. The integrated rear supports allow you to simply stand the ChoeTech 60W up and point it towards the sun. An angle of approximately 45° helps to create suitable conditions for efficient solar radiation capture. You can easily adjust the position of the panel throughout the day to match the current position of the sun.
Multi-layer construction with a durable ETFE surface
The solar cells are protected by a multi-layer construction designed for regular outdoor use. The top ETFE layer offers 95% light transmittance and is also resistant to scratches and high temperatures. This is followed by an impact-absorbing EVA layer, monocrystalline silicon cells and a durable fabric back layer. The construction thus combines efficient light capture with the necessary protection for the panel.
Fold it up and take it with you easily
One of the main advantages of the 60W version is its low weight. The panel weighs only 2.24kg and, when folded, has dimensions of approximately 413×478×5mm. The integrated handle makes it easy to carry and a pocket on the back allows you to store connection accessories. When unfolded, the panel reaches dimensions of approximately 955×413×5mm. The IP67 rating increases the solar panel's resistance to dust and water ingress, which comes in handy when travelling and spending time in nature. The technical specifications state an operating temperature of −20 to +70°C, so the panel is ready for use in a wide range of climatic conditions.
Connection to various power stations
The ChoeTech 60W solar panel uses MC4 connectors and supports connection via 8mm, 5.5×2.1mm, Anderson and XT60 connectors. This allows it to be used with a range of portable power stations. Before connecting, it is always advisable to check the compatibility of the input voltage and current of the specific device.
