Canon 500D Close-up Lens
The Canon 500D close-up lens enables you to create close-up photographs easily and quickly. Simply screw on the close-up lens as a filter on the front side of your lens. It has an achromatic doublet restricting any colour aberration, but it will not reduce the high optical performance of the EF lenses. The type 500D is recommended for lenses with a focal length of 70-300mm.
